Coaching leverages the process of INQUIRY to discover the power and influence of your internal world on your lived experience. 

AS THE CLIENT       You will be offered questions to help you access your own internal knowing, so you can identify what blocks you from and then breaks you through to the experience of life that you desire. 

AS THE COACH      I bring skilled listening, observation, and curiosity. I will create and maintain a space where you are centered, supported, and free to explore your thoughts and experiences absent from the resistance, argument, or influence of outside opinions or ways of being .  

The coach-client relationship is co-created and collaborative, built on the shared purpose of empowering you to create the goals, intentions, and lived experiences in your external reality that you may have only longed for internally until now. Sessions are 1:1 and are conducted over the phone or via video conferencing.

Ever wonder what it’s like to potty-train when you live without running water? What do you do when a blind person, a deaf person, and a person with a broken leg all board your tour bus into the wilderness? What happens when a natural disaster tosses all your plans out the window (or under the bridge that just washed out)? I can at least tell you what happened to me… and how it serves me to this day.

Sometimes we need a little help saying what we want to say. Using the same clear listening and curiosity that you would experience in the coaching space, I will work with you to surface the words you want to share. Maybe you are preparing for a keynote, a toast, or just the letter of a lifetime. If there is something you seek to say from the heart, I can work with you to find the writer within, so the message and the authenticity are all your own.

FACILITATION and DISCOVERY

Whether you are an established organization doing business for profit, a start-up with a fresh idea, or a volunteer group with passion for your cause, discovery is essential to your on-going success. By inviting an outside facilitator into your group’s process, you make it possible for ideas to flow from all participants, regardless of their role. If you are in leadership, you can participate without tempering your creativity because of your title. If you are in a supportive role, you can enter the facilitated space knowing all voices will be called in, called upon, and called to work for the good of the group.

I bring over 20 years of experience in leadership, planning, and operations to my offerings in the following formats, customized to your group’s needs and ambitions:

• BRAINSTORM FACILITATION   This experience explores the question: what is possible? Tailored to your group’s size, you will be invited to examine your purpose, values, and commitments. Following the experience, your discoveries will be summarized back in a way that provides timebound awareness and actionable steps toward the outcomes brought forth and prioritized during the experience.
• WORKSHOP FACILITATION    This experience explores the question: what will it take? As a continuation of the brainstorm experience or as an independent exercise, this custom workshop allows for the facilitated discovery of pathways toward your group’s known, desired outcome.  You will discover real and perceived challenges, identify possible and potential solutions, and create a collective commitment to next-steps.
• VISION QUEST(ION) FACILITATION   This experience explores the question: what is it for? As a continuation of the workshop experience or as an independent exercise, this custom encounter will call for the alignment of your group’s mission, values, policies, and daily operations.  Visioning can happen at leadership and executive levels only, or this opportunity can be offered as a two-part experience, to ensure the vision is clear and resonant at all levels of your organization.  You will depart the experience able to articulate, at all levels of the organization, what you are really working for.

I approach an evaluation of operational practices by looking at three things: intent, achievement, and experience. We will ground our collaborative process in three essential questions about these things.
